AUSTIN, Texas — Between tracking heavy downpours and flooding potential this week, a new weather concern has arisen.
Dense fog spread across Central Texas Tuesday morning and is expected to develop again as we head into the middle of the week. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday, and visibility will be down to a quarter-mile or less in some spots, so be careful on the roads!
Going into early Wednesday morning, visibilities will fall below a half-mile for many. But by the morning, the fog could become much denser in low-lying areas.
Remember to use the low beam settings on your headlights when traveling in fog.
