Forecast: Heat Advisory again on Thursday; feels like temps up to 110

Here are the latest updates from the KVUE Weather Team.

AUSTIN, Texas — *A Heat Advisory will be in effect for Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Milam, Travis and Williamson counties from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday.*

This month is currently in tenth place for the hottest June on record in Austin, and unfortunately we're not looking at any sign of cool down. In fact, our heat continues to build, and we now have our first triple digits of the year in the forecast by the beginning of next week.

Our Heat Advisory has been extended another day for areas along and east of I-35, and now continues through Thursday evening with feels like temperatures up to 110 possible. There is also a 10% chance for a stray storm during the late afternoon or evening on Thursday. 

Plan on more of the same through the weekend with highs each afternoon near 99. We have 100 in the forecast by next Monday, and lower triple digits will likely continue through the 4th of July.
