AUSTIN, Texas — We've tracked good bits of rain in the early going on Wednesday, but we're now tracking a drying trend which will in turn lead to a warming trend as we head into the weekend.
This is due to high pressure that will quickly build in and strengthen over Texas. This will put an end to our rain chances for late week and this weekend and will push afternoon highs into the upper 90s for Saturday and Sunday.
Additionally, it is entirely possible that we could see our first triple-digit day this weekend at Camp Mabry. With that, it's important to stay hydrated and take breaks in the shade whenever necessary.
The KVUE Weather Team will continue to closely monitor this developing forecast.
