AUSTIN, Texas — An unsettled weather pattern continues for Central Texas during Labor Day weekend.
We experienced widespread showers and storms on Saturday, but will be left with only isolated to scattered showers for the next several days.
Due to cloud coverage and rain, temperatures should only reach the upper 80s to lower 90s, although elevated dew points will make it feel muggy at times.
Recent forecast models have trended drier as we head into the new week. On average, 7-day rainfall potential calls for 0.10 to 0.50 inches for most of Central Texas. Some isolated heavy downpours could bring larger rainfall totals. We'll continue to monitor the potential for flooding.
The KVUE Storm Team will continue to closely monitor this developing forecast.
