Happy Fourth of July! The weather has cooperated with us this year, and the forecast is still looking good this evening for anybody with plans to go check out some fireworks.
The high temperature today reached 97 degrees in Austin, and temperatures this evening will drop out of the 90s into the mid and upper 80s this evening. We expect a partly cloudy to mostly clear sky this evening.
A few isolated showers and storms developed this afternoon, but have since weakened. The forecast should now stay just about completely dry through this evening.
