HOUSTON — It was a day of severe weather Thursday across the Houston area. It started with a tornado watch at around 2:45 p.m., then turned into multiple severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings.
The storm raced through town, and as it did, viewers and our crews captured photos and videos of the storm. Below are some of the images of what was captured around Southeast Texas.
If you see damage from the storms and can safely take photos or videos, share them with us through the Near Me feature of our news app. But please don't put yourself in danger to get the shot. We will continue to add to this page.
