Watch 'Home Alone' at Austin Trail of Lights

"Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!" Admission to Austin Trail of Lights is free on Dec. 12.

AUSTIN, Texas — With Austin Trail of Lights opening Dec. 10, Austinites should mark their calendars accordingly for all of the holiday festivities happening each night.  

On Thursday, Dec. 12, the trail will host "Movies in the Park" presented by the Austin Parks Foundation. They will be showing none other than the classic holiday film, "Home Alone."

In the famous words of Kevin McCallister, "Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal," as the ticket cost for general admission is free and open to the public that night. Even though general admission is free, parking will be $15. Check out the different parking options provided by Austin Trail of Lights.

The movie will be shown outside, so keep an eye on KVUE's weather page and bring your blankets.
