AUSTIN, Texas — Central Texans have seen many businesses shut down because of the coronavirus pandemic. KVUE wants to help "Keep Austin Local" by highlighting small businesses that might need a little help.
KVUE stopped by San Francisco Bakery and Café on Wednesday to check out what they offer.
The restaurant has been around since 1995 and offers a large menu featuring breakfast and lunch.
The owners said business shifted dramatically in both style and income due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They still have their full menu but have been functioning as take-out only. The owners said revenue has been down, but they are grateful to still be open.
The bakery features fresh-baked goods and house-prepared products. They offer pastries such as croissants and cinnamon rolls, and they have fresh-baked bread. They also have soup, quiche, salads and sandwiches, and they offer local coffee from Texas Coffee Traders.
