AUSTIN, Texas — An investigation is ongoing after a deadly shooting at a McDonald's in Round Rock on Friday.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force division of the US Marshals opened fire on a person at the McDonald's along East Palm Valley Boulevard on Nov. 1.
What led up to the shooting remains unclear, but Round Rock police said they were called to help the task force after the incident happened and that none of their officers were involved in the shooting.
DPS confirmed it is actively investigating and that a person was killed in the shooting.
