Several injured in southeast Travis County rollover crash

Two of the crash victims were children, Austin-Travis County EMS said.

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — Three people are injured, including two children, following a rollover crash in southeast Travis County on Tuesday evening.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS), the crash happened between the 10300 and 10600 block of South State Highway 130 northbound, at the intersection with Maha Loop Road, around 5:37 pm. The vehicle reportedly rolled multiple times, ATCEMS said.

An adult and two children were taken to Ascension Seton Hays hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two ambulances responded to the scene, according to ATCEMS.

No other information on the crash is available at this time. Last year, KVUE spoke with residents in the area, who called for safety improvements at the intersection following several deadly crashes.

"Since they built this, it's a death trap," Jeanette Mouser said.

"There's always a stop sign. Not here. It's a flashing light," Irma Lira said. "And I think that catches people, especially if they're not familiar with the area."
