Austin-based company launches new delivery service with H-E-B

It's the latest feature coming to H-E-B as the Texas-based chain adapts to the trends.

AUSTIN, Texas — H-E-B is adding new services with a bit of Central Texas flair.

Austin-based Favor Delivery is launching H-E-B Now to help Texans get their favorite groceries faster.

The new service aims to get customers up to 15 items in 45 minutes or less. So if you're missing something for that secret recipe or noticed your pantry snacks are suddenly empty, you can use the Favor app to order groceries.

In addition to H-E-B Now, the Favor app will also feature a section dedicated to everything it offers from H-E-B, including beer, wine, flowers, sushi and barbecue.

Favor says there are no delivery or service fees on orders more than $25 between now and the end of the year.

It's the latest change coming to H-E-B as it keeps up with new trends. Recently, the Texas-based grocery chain launched a pilot program to experiment with tap-to-pay services.

H-E-B immediately expanded the pilot program from a Central Market in Dallas to all locations statewide. The grocery store has yet to reveal if tap-to-pay services will come to H-E-B.
