2 dead in Pflugerville area shooting

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — Two people are dead after a shooting in the Pflugerville area Saturday night.

The City of Pflugerville said that at approximately 7:52 p.m. Saturday, the Pflugerville Police Department responded to a shots-fired call in the 800 block of Cheyenne Valley Cove.

Upon arrival, officers located two individuals with gunshot wounds, later identified as 53-year-old Timothy Niles and 56-year-old Patricia Niles. Timothy Niles was transported to a nearby hospital, however, both Timothy and Patricia Niles have since been pronounced deceased.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing, but it is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public at this time.
