ROYSE CITY, Texas — Texans love Buc-ee's, no doubt.
One couple, though, took their love for Buc-ee's – and each other – to the next level. They held a wedding ceremony inside of a North Texas Buc-ee's gas station in front of a massive wall of beef jerky, all while decked out in Buc-ee's merchandise.
The couple renewed their vows inside the Buc-ee's travel center in Royse City, according to the groom, Stan Sigler, who posted video of the ceremony in the BUC-EE'S LOVERS Facebook group. Stan donned a Buc-ee's button-up T-shirt while his bride wore a pink Buc-ee's shirt and bow.
Buc-ee the Beaver – and no, not the one our WFAA crew found in Denton earlier this month – stood between the couple and guests and employees gathered for the ceremony as the two exchanged rings.
"I pronounce you husband and wife and you may now buy Beaver Nuggets," the minister said in the video just before the couple kissed.
According to a comment on the video from Sigler, they got permission from the manager before holding the wedding.
Buc-ee's has been subject to many viral moments over the years, including celebrity appearances by Lenny Kravitz and Lauren Alaina, and misspelling (on purpose?) Howdy on a billboard.
WFAA has reached out to Buc-ee's for more information about the wedding.
