Pre-Match

Q2 Stadium parking opens several hours ahead of the match on gamedays. The team says that fans are highly encouraged to pre-purchase parking. Q2 Stadium parking passes for both on-site lots and off-site lots are available on the team's website. Fans parking in any lot must have a mobile parking pass ready as they approach to ensure efficient and timely entry.

H-E-B Plaza will also open around that time. The area is a spot where fans can buy team memorabilia and visit a number of sponsored kiosks, including ones run by brands like Coca-Cola, Anheuser Busch and Waterloo.

If there's a pre-match concert, it will be held at Live Oak Park, located on the west side of the stadium.

Stadium doors and The Verde Store will open about 90 minutes before kickoff.

Transportation

Transportation has been one of the major overhauls and features at the stadium this season.

CapMetro's new McKalla Station, located just outside Q2 Stadium, is now fully operational. The station was first announced in late 2021, where construction plans included a path for shared use, a special event platform, passenger platforms, increased train tracks, and a better drainage system.

Not only will the new station be operational, but the new Red Line Trail, a planned 1.7-mile bike path, will connect directly to Q2 Stadium from Braker Lane to the northern Walnut Creek Trail. CapMetro says it is designed to make it easier for soccer fans to access public transportation and other trails from the stadium.

A full list of mobility options can be seen here.

Bag Policy

Q2 Stadium doesn't allow bags of any kind into the stadium, including backpacks and clear bags.

Exemptions can be considered for the following, after required security screening:

  • Clutch-size purses or bags equal to or smaller than the size of a hand (approximately 8 in. by 5 in. by 1 in.)
  • Medical bags
  • Childcare bags (diaper bags) when guests are accompanied by a child
  • Cultural bags

Q2 Stadium provides bag check lockers for a fee on a first-come, first-serve basis located at the Northwest and Southwest Gates. Bags can be checked in a locker for $10 and will open 45 minutes prior to gates and will remain open for one hour after the game.
