AUSTIN, Texas — If you're flying out of Austin's airport, Delta wants to give you some more options for 2024.
Starting in mid-April, Delta Air Lines will add 11 flights out of Austin-Bergstromg International Airport.
The airline says there will now be three flights each day from Austin to Nashville. They're also adding some extra Texas stops to Midland, Odessa, and McAllen.
Meanwhile, already existing routes to Cincinnati and Raleigh will also get an extra flight each day.
Delta says the new routes and flights will increase seat capacity by 20%.
"This expansion not only creates an access point to diverse opportunities for business, leisure, and cultural exploration spanning Texas and beyond but also solidifies Delta’s commitment to being a key player in Austin’s evolving landscape,” said Delta's Joe Esposito said. “Austin is growing rapidly, and this 20% increase in capacity mirrors that growth as we look to provide our customers with unparalleled convenience in the region.”
