AUSTIN, Texas — We've made it to the week of Thanksgiving! It's going to be an interesting one for weather, although without any rain chances.
We're tracking a roller coaster of temperatures through the week, with the first drop coming Monday afternoon with highs in the lower 80s before the front moves through. Lows Monday night could get down to the lower to mid-40s, with some areas dropping to the upper 30s.
Tuesday's highs will be only in the upper 60s with mostly sunny skies, but then we're right back up to the 80s for Wednesday. Then things get interesting.
We're tracking a second cold front moving in from the north and, based on the timing, it's looking like we'll have highs in the upper 60s in the morning hours of Thanksgiving before temperatures falling through the day. Lows Black Friday morning will drop to the 30s and 40s, so be sure to bundle up if you're planning on camping out for those bargains.
Highs for the weekend are expected to be in the 60s, so fall seems to be solidly in place in Central Texas.
