KVUE's Kalyn Norwood reports that several downed trees were found along Chestnut Street and SH 95 in Bastrop.

Kimberly Farbo said the wind really started picking up at about 4 a.m. and it brought her back to 2007 when a huge tree fell and went into her bedroom, causing lots of damage to the front of her home.

When she saw the rain and heard the high winds Thursday, she was concerned it could happen again.

"When it hit, it was bashing the back side of the house, which is rare when it does that," Farbo said. "I looked outside and it was just sheets of white."

Farbo said there were trees down all along her street, but city crews were able to clean it up pretty quickly.

A Flash Flood Warning was in effect in Bastrop and Caldwell counties until 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
