Test your pop culture knowledge with free trivia nights in Austin

Get It Gals specializes in themed trivia events, including "The Office," "Harry Potter" and "Friends."

AUSTIN, Texas — Every week, you can test your pop culture knowledge at free trivia nights across Austin. 

The events are put on by Get It Gals, a local women-owned and operated trivia group that got started planning trivia for baby showers and rehearsal dinners.

In their three-and-a-half years, Get It Gals went from hosting one event each month to more than 25 each month. 

"Our growth has shown us that people in Austin are liking what we're putting out there. We're always striving to do better and better and better," co-founder Jess Evans said.

The trivia nights are hosted in both North and South Austin so more people have a chance to join in. It's also free to play.

  • March 5: "Clueless" - Fareground, 7 p.m.
  • March 9: Disney Movies - Local Post Pub, 8 p.m.
  • March 10: "Friends" - The Park at the Domain, 8 p.m.
  • March 11: Musicals - The Brass Tap in Round Rock, 7 p.m.
  • March 11: Girl Power - The LINE Hotel, 7 p.m.
  • March 12: "Harry Potter" - Waterloo Ice House on Burnet, 7 p.m.
  • March 12: "Mean Girls" - The Cavalier, 8 p.m.
  • March 15: General Knowledge Trivia - Deep Eddy, 2 p.m.
  • March 23: "Parks and Rec" - Local Post Pub, 8 p.m.
  • March 24: "How I Met Your Mother" - Park at the Domain, 8 p.m.
  • March 25: "Grey's Anatomy" - Brass Tap Round Rock, 7 p.m.
  • March 25: "Sex and the City" - Irene's, 7 p.m.
  • March 26: "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" - Waller Creek Pub House, 7 p.m.
  • March 26: Classic "Simpsons" - Compadre Brewing, 8 p.m.
  • March 30: Muzingo (music bingo) - Kitty Cohen's, 7 p.m.
