Police have identified the two men killed in a shooting in southeast Austin in late June.

The Austin Police Department (APD) said officers received calls just before 11:30 p.m. on June 26 about multiple gunshots at 2317 South Pleasant Road, near the Arbor Pointe apartments. Callers reported that several shots had been fired and people were heard screaming.

When officers arrived on the scene, they located three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other died after being transported to a hospital. Those men have been identified as 39-year-old Ricardo Martinez and 30-year-old Aldo Edgar Romero-Milan.

The third victim sustained life-threatening injuries, but police said they remained in stable condition as of June 28. Their condition at this time is unclear.

The deaths of Martinez and Romero-Milan are being investigated as Austin's 28th and 29th homicides of the year, but no arrests have been made.
