Lottery ticket worth $29 million sold in Austin

The ticket was bought at the Salt Springs Xpress store on Salt Springs Drive on June 24.

AUSTIN, Texas — Someone in the Austin area is now $29 million richer.

According to the Texas Lottery, a jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at the Salt Springs Xpress convenience store on Salt Springs Drive in southeast Austin on June 24.

The winning ticket accurately matched each of the six numbers drawn (11-21-25-30-32-50). The winner chose the cash value option at purchase, meaning they will collect over $16 million in winnings before taxes are deducted.

The prize has not yet been claimed, and the winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
